Help with Preiser info

Does anybody know if Preiser made a band (musikkorp) for the WW2 era, I was sure I had seen one a while ago but cannot seem to find any mention of it on the web.
Hope some one can help put my mind at ease.

Hi Ian,

I think you did see the 1/25 scale Elastolin WW2 german music-band from Preiser.
As far as I know, Preiser hasn't made these in 1/87.

... it is possible that you've seen them. I know of at least 2 marching bands of the Wehrmacht in 1/87 which were sold, the last year, for a lot of money on Ebay. Maybe that was one of the ones you have seen. If i'm not mistaken one of the bands was made out of a 1/87 Preiser Bundeswehr/Luftwaffe-Set which was partially re-made (helmets etc.) and re-painted.

Hello Ian,

so far Preiser have not released a WWII German band, but depending on which branch you choose, it should be doable from the available sets.
