I thought it looked a bit boring just sitting on the ground so tried sticking a cotton wool wrapped coat hangar wire up the tail pipe and was quite happy with the result.

Aichi D3A1 Val - This model is actually 1/100 so should not be here but it is a classic Japanese plane responsible for the sinking of many Allied naval craft and finishes off my carrier based planes.

I like the model but I am not so happy with the HaHen decals as they are not always the right size when compared to the real plane. The German flag on the tail should be much smaller and the German Crosses on my previous F86k model are way over size for the plane and trying to hide the decal film seems a lot harder when compared to other manufacturers but with limited availability of aircraft models there is not a lot else I can do with them.
