Hi Steffen. Beautiful models as always. I have never heard of the Griffin before and was wondering what it is based on and where the model comes from.

The ARV 'Griffin' and also the AEV (pionier tank) are based on chassis of the light tank (tank destroyer) "Kürassier".
They belong to the family of Saurer/Steyr-Daimler-Puch APCs.

The model is from trident.
It was first released as a white metal model in the early 1980s (item number 80019) and as a resin model in 2011 (item number 87133)
