Typhoon lights

Beitrag von Ian Simpson »

Hi Everybody. I am currently trying to install some LED lights in the ArsenalM Typhoon kit and thought I would show some of the slow progress that is happening. I did have big ambitions for installing flashing lights and effects but the space required is to much for placing within the small space of the fuselage and so it has been scaled back to just static lights on the wing tips and fuselage. It would be possible to have some form of lighting control external to the model but you would end up with a lot of individual wires that need to be disguised or hidden in some way and by simplifying what happens I am just left with 2 thin wires that I can hide in the undercarriage. This is my first attempt at this sort of thing so hopefully it will be successful.
Ian

Hi Ian,

looks fine! Maybe you can use enamelled copper wire. This works fine in my gauge N trains.
Greetings
