Hello everyone
Looking for information if a L70 40mm Platoon had a Generator set assigned to it. After reading Peter HOSS books I believe it does.
The Internet was not my friend in my research.But what Type of Gen Set?
OOB: 3ea L70 40mm Guns, 4-5ea MD Typ 7T LKW, 1ea Fledermaus and 3ea Unimog S 404 for Ammo carriers and 1 escort vehicle. Also maybe a Generator set pulled by the odd MD Typ 7T LKW.

Any help would be great

The generator in this video is a Generator Typ Bauscher 30 KVA.
All Bofors 40mm used 30 KVA generator, first time Typ Bauscher and later like the Y-Modells on Tragbrückenanhänger.
The generator 56 KVA were used at Hawk system.

I guess I will try to build one from my parts box.
Ive taken a few still photos from the film but I am missing photo shots of the left side and the rear.

In the book "Prototypen und Sonderfahrzeuge der Bundeswehr, Band 3" from Karl Anweiler you will found 2 pictures on page 232.

Interesting! The Dutch army also used a Bauscher with their 40l70 guns but a different type, a 15 KW version. In 1980 they were replaced by a 20 KW Bosch generator.
